Hope Reclaimed Therapy

Starting therapy can feel daunting. Will this therapist understand me? How can I trust this stranger with my most vulnerable thoughts and feelings? Will this really help my anxiety or relationship? Is it worth it?

The truth is, not every therapist is the right fit for you, which is why I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation, so you can see if we would be a good fit before you invest the time, energy, and money into therapy. I love working with young adults and couples and I know it can lead to change if you are committed and willing to try. Seeing the shift from stuck and hopeless to feeling capable of growth is why I love what I do.

I have extensive training and experience working with individuals and couples in English and Spanish. I specialize in anxiety, couples’ issues & pre-marital counseling, trauma, military members and their family members, and young adults issues (becoming the adult you want to be, navigating relationships, identity, etc.). I offer 50 and 100 minute sessions.

A lot of my young adults tend to want a space where they can process anxiety or trauma, navigate relationships, figure out how to change dysfunctional behaviors that are not helping them, and think about career/life goals.

My couples normally come to therapy because they feel disconnected and are noticing escalated conflict that they cannot seem to break out of or fix. They still want to stay in their relationship, but they are feeling more stuck and hopeless with each fight and miscommunication. I also enjoy working with pre-marital couples and newlyweds to help lay a solid foundation for their marriage.

Therapy is what you choose to make of it and I am honored to be a part of your journey towards change for however long or short it may be. I provide a non-judgmental space to process, become aware of negative cycles and unhelpful thoughts/behaviors/patterns and work towards growth, connection, and healing. If you think we could be a good fit, reach out!

On a personal note, I’m a Christian, wife, mom, and dog lover. I have lived in various states and countries throughout my life, especially with my husband’s Navy service, but would call Florida home. Outside of therapy, I enjoy fostering dogs through a local rescue, camping, and traveling both locally and abroad.
